The When We Were Young festival is back with another nostalgia-packed lineup, and 2025’s edition promises to be one for the books. Slated for October 18 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, the emo-centric event will mark the highly anticipated return of Panic! At the Disco, nearly two years after the band called it quits.

Fans can rejoice as Panic! celebrates the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, performing it in full. Expect a live journey through hits like “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” “But It’s Better If You Do,” and “The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage,” bringing a perfect blend of drama and nostalgia to the Vegas stage.

Joining Panic! are a host of alt-rock and emo heavyweights, including Weezer, Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, and The Offspring. The stacked lineup also features fan favorites such as All Time Low, The Used, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, Jack’s Mannequin, and Alexisonfire. Hardcore and punk fans can look forward to electrifying performances by Knocked Loose, Bad Religion, The Gaslight Anthem, and Motionless in White.

Pop-punk and emo classics will come to life with appearances by Straylight Run, The Story So Far, I Prevail, Ice Nine Kills, Plain White T’s, and more, ensuring a little something for everyone who grew up with Warped Tour playlists and Hot Topic soundtracks.

This year’s When We Were Young festival, held on October 19-20, celebrated My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade and brought together acts like Nada Surf, Neck Deep, Coheed and Cambria, Saves the Day, Atreyu, and many more. If the 2025 edition builds on that momentum, it’s set to be a can’t-miss event for fans of the golden era of emo and pop-punk.
